Community Life at Albany Meadows during Covid-19

3rd November 2020

Despite these difficult times community life is thriving at Albany Meadows as more and more residents move in, and it has been a pleasure to see how our happy residents have been supporting each other.

We may not be able to have our usual social events and activities in the Albany Lounge, but as new neighbours here have fast become new friends our residents have really enjoyed seeing each other for chats and laughter around our lovely grounds. Socially distanced summer drinks on the terrace and a wonderful VE Day celebration spread out around our lawn have been just a few things that have really helped keep everyone’s spirits up.

Our residents have also enjoyed the peace of mind that our Village Manager Marion brings. Here to help out with day-to-day life, a friendly face for a chat and someone to help with online shopping, she really is a valued part of our community and has been an invaluable point of contact and assistance for our residents, particularly during lockdown. They have also appreciated the regular visits from Shaun who delivers cleaning and help to our residents as part of our built-in home support services – he’s always a welcome face every week.

Watch our video and let our residents explain how they have found life easier during Covid-19, living at Albany Meadows.
